what I'm up to now

These are the things I'm doing right now(ish). Inspired by the /now page movement by Derek Sivers.

currently (8–14 December 2025)

  • Teaching: Coordination meeting for the next term courses. Reviewing and updating course materials.
  • Supervision & advising: 1 PhD student. 3 Master's theses. 4 student internships.
  • Research: Working on 2 papers.
  • Scholarly service: Peer-reviewing 1 manuscript. Meeting to discuss joining the editorial board of a scientific journal.
  • Other stuff: Updating my website. Setting up my new office.
